About

We are a women and non-binary people of colour collective of organisational change and EDI* professionals. We believe that all leaders and organisations have a crucial role to play in creating social justice.

Our vision is to enable key players to use their power to bring about social justice on the individual, organisational and systemic level. Yes, we work with organisations to identify and dismantle oppressive practices, but we also support organisations to create a positive vision and enable them to make the changes needed to realise that vision.

Simply put, we believe that with our expertise, you can create the organisation and society you want to be a part of.

We are professionals and activists bringing together our values, expertise, and experiences to build social justice. Our approach centres the voices and experiences of minoritised people - we are trans inclusive feminists with expertise in anti-racism, and in queer, disability and working class rights movements. We each have an extensive professional network that we work with across all social justice issues.

We are also the SJC network - a network of women and non-binary people of colour coming together to lift each other up in whatever way we can.

Pari Dhillon

Director

Pari Dhillon (she/her) is the Director and Founder of the Social Justice Collective. After 20+ years of leading charities and developing innovative approaches to organisational change that centre social justice, she is bringing together experts who design social justice led interventions for anti-oppression at every organisational level.

Known widely for her impactful approach rooting interventions in each organisation’s responsibility and potential for advancing social justice, Pari enables every leader and team to map out their own journey towards change and envisage their potential impact at a personal, interpersonal, workforce, and societal level. Her starting point is that every individual, group, and organisation has the potential and power to create social justice within their sphere of influence. Pari supports people to understand, achieve, and often go beyond their own potential to create change.

Pari believes that we are not individually to blame for the existence of systems of oppression, but we each have a responsibility for dismantling them. Pari is a grassroots activist and lesbian mother of two.  She is a Trustee of UK Black Pride and founding co-chair of the SJC network; a women and non-binary people of colour collective of social justice warriors. Pari’s anti-racism and queer rights activism roots her leadership and approach in the experiences of grassroots changemakers and minoritised people.
