We are a people of colour collective of organisational change and EDI* professionals. We bring our values, expertise, and experiences to build social justice.
Our vision is to enable you to use your power to bring about social justice at the individual, organisational and societal level. We work with organisations to dismantle oppressive practices and work towards a vision of justice rather than charity.
Our approach centres the voices and experiences of minoritised people - we are trans inclusive feminists with expertise in anti-racism, and in queer, disability and working class rights movements.

Our core values
-
Anti-oppressive
We centre the voices of minoritised people and are committed to co-creating solutions in our work, to ensure that the process of creating change is as empowering and liberating as the change itself. Understanding our power and role in systems of oppression and re-creating systems where that power is shared, is at the heart of who we are at SJC.
-
Joy
As people of colour delivering anti-oppression work within the systems that oppress us, we recognise the importance of creating space for, and protecting, our joy. We are committed to working with minoritised people in ways that are most joyful & empowering, by creating spaces to envision positive solutions and to nurture individual, personal growth.
-
Liberating
We recognise that multiple and interrelated oppressions exist for individuals, within our systems and in society. We believe that liberation is found in working collectively to understand and undo those oppressions in ourselves, our places of work and our communities. We believe that recognising our shared stake in a just society for all allows us to move forwards with a powerful, shared solidarity.
-
Real
We believe that meaningful and transformative change can only take place when it is rooted in the real lived experience, decisions and priorities of marginalised people. We are actively committed to learning, self-awareness and being honest with ourselves and others in the pursuit of change.
