Embodied Anti-Racism Coaching

A five-part online coaching programme with Power & Integrity x SJC to help leaders and change makers build confidence, integrity, and purpose in racial justice work. By working with your body and nervous system through coaching and reflection, you’ll deepen your ability to tackle systemic racism and work towards meaningful change.

About the programme

Created by Power & Integrity x SJC, the Embodied Anti-Racism Coaching Programme empowers leaders and change makers with the space, knowledge, and tools to dismantle racism within themselves, their organisations, and their communities — and to step into truly transformative leadership.

Programme aims

This immersive coaching programme blends embodiment practices, critical reflection, and practical strategies to help you: 

  • Deepen your understanding of systemic racism and power  

  • Create a challenging and supportive space to examine your own personal role and power in the system of racism 

  • Build confidence to take action towards racial justice - individually and collectively 

  • Develop race equity focused approaches to leadership  

  • Connect with a supportive community committed to action towards racial justice

Dates: all at 1.30 - 3pm GMT on Zoom  

  • Session 1: 13 January 2026 

  • Session 2: 27 January 2026 

  • Session 3: 10 February 2026 

  • Session 4: 24 February 2026 

  • Session 5: 10 March 2026 

Who is this programme for?

This group coaching programme is for any change makers from the third sector, not-for-profit and social impact sector. This cohort is aimed at white participants but open to all who are looking to dive deeper through self-reflection on whiteness and its characteristics. Together we'll find strategies to embody anti-racism and embrace discomfort.  

We will be running this programme for POC-only as a safe space later in 2026.

Who is leading the programme?

Bhavika Patel (she / her), Co-Chair at Power & Integrity - Bhavika is a coach and business psychologist who helps organisations create inclusive, equitable cultures by dismantling systemic barriers and embedding anti-oppression values into action. She blends evidence-based psychology with business insight to support leaders, teams, and organisations in building workplaces that are fair, resilient, and with integrity.

Hannah Kibirige (she / her), Lead Consultant at SJC - Hannah is the Lead Consultant of the Social Justice Collective. Hannah worked in the UK charity sector on social justice issues and with marginalised communities for over 15 years. Hannah enjoys facilitating learning spaces, supporting organisations to identify their next steps towards social justice, and collaborating with change makers.

What is the time commitment?

Each session is 1.5 hours long and there are 5 sessions in total, approximately every 2 weeks.

There is an additional 1 hour of learning in between sessions too.

How to participate fully

In this programme, we use a variety of methods to process and learn together. This might include meditations, movement, as well as just having open and honest conversations.

In order to participate fully, you will need:

  • A strong internet connection that can facilitate a Zoom meeting

  • A private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking openly

  • A space with some room for you to move freely

Overview of the sessions

  • Theme: Understanding Intersectionality and White Supremacy Culture

    Objective: Introduce the concepts of intersectional anti-racism, white supremacy culture, and the role of the nervous system in perpetuating or challenging oppressive dynamics.

    Key Concepts: Intersectionality, white supremacy culture characteristics (e.g., perfectionism, urgency, defensiveness).

  • Theme: Identifying and Interrupting Harmful Patterns

    Objective: Help participants recognise behaviours rooted in white supremacy culture and explore somatic responses to them.

    Key Concepts: Characteristics of white supremacy culture in leadership (e.g., individualism, binary thinking).

  • Theme: Holding Space for Growth Without Shame

    Objective: Cultivate practices for staying accountable without succumbing to shame or performativity.

    Key Concepts: Accountability as a practice of care, avoiding performative allyship.

  • Theme: Governance and centring equity/equality

    Objective: Understand what power sensitive leadership looks and feels like.

    Key Concepts: Power & Integrity, inequality in systems, structures, policies and mindsets.

  • Theme: Decentring Whiteness in Leadership

    Objective: Practice decentring whiteness and amplifying the leadership and voices of marginalised individuals.

    Key Concepts: Decentring, co-liberation, and equity-focused decision-making.
